The Malbonne Estate, which features in episode 6:2 The Secret of the Flame Tree, is the home of author Sylvie Baptiste, and was the site of the first literary festival on Saint Marie. It is also the setting for the novel The Flame Tree, which is required reading for all Saint Marie students.
