Darlene and Dwayne were an item during series 7 before Dwayne went traveling with his father. They were seen spending time with Darlene's niece in a few episodes.
She appeared to be the only one that Dwayne even partly settled down with.
Darlene reappeared as a suspect in 11:5 when there was a death at the rehab clinic she worked at.
Darlene became a civilian staff member at the Honoré Police Station starting in 11:6. At the end of the 2022 Christmas special she revealed that she applied for Police Officer Training, making her a Trainee Officer from 12:1 onwards.
