She is Camille Bordey's mother, owner of a bar where she occasionally provides a place for the team to talk over cases, and since 6:8 Murder in the Polls Mayor of Saint Marie.
Although she seems a good cook generally, Richard complains vociferously about her chicken soup when she makes it to help him recover from a fever in 1:6 An Unhelpful Aid. There is an echo of this in the faces Humphrey pulls when supplied with chicken soup to help him recover from concussion in 5:5 Lost Identity.
