A Personal Murder is the fourth episode of Series 5 of Death in Paradise.
The team must solve a deeply personal case when Dwayne's old mentor is found dead and a text message from beyond the grave says it was murder. DI Goodman tries to unleash his inner gourmand.

Dwayne attends the funeral of his old mentor, Cedrik, but is shocked to receive a text from him saying "I was murdered", especially since he had placed Cedrik's phone in the coffin with him just beforehand.
