Seriously, I don't get why these wikis haven't been merged.

I was wondering if anyone knows what inspired the name of the town of Honoré. My grandfather from Martinique was also called Honoré. The town of Honoré looks a lot like the town of Trinité where he lived (and the school there is named in his memory).

I love how there's been 3 different female Detective Sergeants, I've seen this show over a few years and I love how each episode I see is usually part of a different season, because there's always different casts. I would love to be an extra but I would not love to be killed off. ,:D

I'm reading this book for the first time and two things don't make sense. 1. Fidel Best. In the first two books he's addressed as Sergeant but in this one, he's introduced as Police Officer and this book takes place supposedly in 2013 or later due to the quote "However, since Britain had abolished the slave trade in 1807, and slavery itself in 1833 - over 180 years ago -" which implies that this book takes place after a point he'd been promoted to Sergeant but somehow he's still an officer. 2. Charlie Hulme. When discussing a member of the Beaumont family, one of them had two hits against their name in the system but nothing ever happened to them as Charlie was the arresting officer. With the next sentence saying "Charlie Hulme had been the corrupt Detective Inspector who'd preceded Richard's arrival on the island and Richard could well imagine how the Beaumont family might have leant on him to make sure he didn't press charges." Which makes no sense as Charlie wasn't corrupt, it was Lily Thomson. Its just weird that this doesn't seem to make any sense with what we already know.

Finally got round to catching up with series 9 and feel that episode 3 is so far fetched it is unbelievable.

The basic murder details are not that unusual - keeping someone alive by having a stand in, however how does Jade Anouka stand in for Ashley Byam when she is 10cm shorter and has a rather large bust?

I absolute love this show!

I do have one question for which I cannot find an answer.

Why do the season's episodes never have titles listed anywhere?

They get added eventually but it just seems so odd.
